About One-Stop Voting

Early voting (also known as One-Stop) began in North Carolina on a small scale in the 2000 General Election. Since then, the practice of voting before Election Day has increased to the point that in the 2008 General Election more than half of the 4,353,739 voters who cast ballots in North Carolina voted at a One-Stop site.
